A tummy tuck costs in Dubai range between 20,000 and 60,000 AED. It’s important to note that these costs don’t reflect Dr. Baycin’s individual pricing; you’ll learn the precise amount during your consultation after he takes a look at your condition. The price could increase based on how serious the issue is and if you require an extended hospital stay.
Abdominoplasty, commonly known as a tummy tuck, is a surgical procedure designed to remove excess skin and fat from the middle and lower parts of the abdomen. This operation helps create a tighter, smoother, and firmer belly. The abdomen is an important area for aesthetics, as it significantly impacts a person’s overall appearance.
The deformities in the abdominal region commonly occur are:
A tummy tuck is a procedure that helps fix issues like stretch marks, sagging skin, and wrinkles below the belly button. It also addresses looseness and fat buildup above the belly button, along with bloating caused by weakened abdominal muscles. Not only does a tummy tuck enhance your body image, but it also boosts your self-confidence.
Abdominoplasty is also available to combine with liposuction if needed.

Most of the abdominoplasty candidates who visit me are women who experienced pregnancy in the past. It is also feasible for the women with abdominal sagging due to the massive weight alteration even if they were never pregnant.
Belly surgery is considerable for the men who have saggy abdominal skin.
The women benefit more:
Tummy tuck also provides a satisfying result to the elder patients who have worn and lost skin elasticity.
Some women often express their frustration about stretch marks on their bellies. They’re on the lookout for ways to eliminate these marks without resorting to surgery. Unfortunately, there’s currently no non-surgical solution that can completely erase stretch marks.
During the abdominoplasty, I carefully remove the skin and the underlying fat from just above the pubic area to a few centimeters above the belly button in an elliptical shape. This means that any stretch marks on the skin that’s taken away will also disappear along with it.

There are two techniques for abdominoplasty: full tummy tuck and mini tummy tuck. I determine the technique which will provide best for you as evaluating the severity of the problem.
Mini abdominoplasty is a favorable option if:
Briefly, if the problem is mild and below the belly button, a mini tummy tuck provides a satisfying result.
If similar problems are present above the belly button, a full tummy tuck is needed.
In other words:
If you can bring your hands together when you push on your upper and lower abdomen, it indicates that you’re a good candidate for a full abdominoplasty. This straightforward test highlights the need for a full procedure for most patients.
Choosing to have a mini abdominoplasty when you actually require a full one can lead to disappointing results. In fact, a mini abdominoplasty only offers minimal improvements for those who truly need a full abdominoplasty.

Loose muscle tightening on the midline as a part of the procedure
In a full abdominoplasty, I start by removing the skin and fat that sit just a few centimeters above the belly button down to the lower abdominal border, as they’re not needed.
Next, I carefully free the belly button from the surrounding skin and fat by cutting around its inner edge, but I make sure to keep it intact and in its original position. I then separate the skin and fat from the abdominal muscles, working my way down to the lower ribs, which reveals the muscles that make up the abdominal wall. I stitch these muscles together at the midline, which is a crucial step in the tummy tuck process.
This tightening gives the muscles a youthful firmness and significantly reduces any bloating in the abdomen, while also narrowing the waistline. After restoring the abdominal muscles, I pull the separated skin and fat tissue down as tightly as possible and remove any excess skin and fat.
Finally, I stitch the upper and lower edges together. During this process, I create a new opening in the center for the belly button, which I then attach in its new position. To finish up, I place a tube to drain any blood or excess fluid that might accumulate beneath the skin.
I always make sure to position the surgical scar from the tummy tuck in a way that it can be easily concealed by a bikini.
In some situations, the issue might not just be confined to the front of the abdomen. An extended tummy tuck is often needed to eliminate all the excess fat and skin. This is particularly true for patients who are overweight, as the areas of skin that need to be removed can stretch around to the back of the waist. In these cases, I also take away any extra tissue from the backside of the waist.
In a mini abdominoplasty, I focus on removing excess skin and fat located below the belly button by making an elliptical cut. Sometimes, I may need to loosen and separate the abdominal muscles in the lower area. If that happens, I’ll stitch those muscles together in the middle to create a tighter appearance. Once I’ve taken away the extra tissue, I carefully stitch the upper and lower edges of the skin back together.
One thing to note about the mini abdominoplasty is that the belly button remains untouched. Because this procedure targets a specific area, its effects are limited to the lower abdomen. In certain cases, I can also work on the abdominal muscles above the belly button without having to cut through it during the mini abdominoplasty.
Getting a tummy tuck means you’ll be under general anesthesia, and the whole procedure typically takes about 2.5 to 3 hours. If you’re opting for an extended tummy tuck, it might take a bit longer. After the surgery, you can expect to stay in the hospital for about 1 to 2 days before heading home.
One of the key aspects of a tummy tuck is tightening the abdominal muscles.
In addition to tightening the abdominal muscles — a fundamental part of any tummy tuck — I bring a refined, detail-oriented approach that focuses on both aesthetics and functionality. My high definition technique stands out through three carefully considered elements designed to deliver natural-looking, confidence-boosting results:

This patient sent her photo, taken at the beach, highlights the natural-looking results of Dr. Baycin’s high definition tummy tuck technique. The scar is discreetly hidden beneath the bikini line, the belly button maintains a natural appearance, and the subtle muscle column effect creates a sculpted, toned look — all key elements of Dr. Baycin’s refined approach to abdominal contouring.
After the procedure, you’ll be able to start moving around with the help of someone else in about 3 to 4 hours. By the next day, you should feel ready to get up and about on your own.
Even though the tummy tuck will be done under general anesthesia, I’ll also use a local anesthetic in the surgical area. This long-lasting local anesthetic will help ensure you don’t feel any pain on the first day, which is usually when the discomfort is at its peak.
You might have heard that a tummy tuck can be quite painful, but surprisingly, the pain you experience will likely be much less than you expect. Any moderate discomfort in the days that follow can be easily managed with pain medication.
You’ll be able to take a shower about 3 to 4 days after your surgery.
Just remember to steer clear of strenuous activities, coughing, and heavy lifting during the first week. After about 4 to 5 days, you should be good to travel.
If you’re feeling up to it and confident enough, you can get back to work after about 7 to 10 days of rest. It will take around 3 to 4 weeks before you can gradually start engaging in sports and physical activities again after your tummy tuck.
A mini tummy tuck focuses on a smaller area compared to a full abdominoplasty, which means the surgery typically lasts about 1 to 1.5 hours. Plus, the recovery time is quicker, allowing you to get back to your everyday life in just 2 to 3 days after the procedure.
I often get asked by my patients when they can jump back into their daily routines. Honestly, you don’t need to ask me. Just pay attention to what your body is telling you. It’ll let you know when it’s ready to go or when it needs a break. You can adjust your activities based on that.
And if you’re wondering about swimming, you can usually dive back in after about 10 to 15 days, which is enough time for your wounds to heal post-surgery.

In a tummy tuck, I don’t just remove excess tissue; I also craft a new belly button that looks completely natural. This way, the skin around the belly button maintains a nice contour instead of appearing flat. I aim to achieve that lovely dimpling that gives it a more authentic look.
So, even if you decide to rock a bikini, no one will be able to tell you’ve had a tummy tuck. I always use absorbable and discreet sutures, so you won’t have to worry about the stress of stitch removal.
Right after the surgery, you’ll notice a remarkable transformation in your abdominal area. This improvement can really boost your quality of life. A tummy tuck not only helps you shed excess and sagging skin but also gives your confidence a significant lift.
Getting pregnant after having a tummy tuck is possible and is generally safe for both you and your baby. That said, it’s crucial to understand how pregnancy might impact the results of your surgery and what you should keep in mind if you’re thinking about growing your family.
While pregnancy can change the outcomes of your surgery, with some thoughtful planning and realistic expectations, you can still reach your aesthetic goals. Having a chat with me about your plans will help ensure the best results for both your health and your appearance.
Satisfaction rate diagram after a tummy tuck
The complication rates associated with tummy tucks come from a variety of medical literature. These rates can differ based on the individual patient’s health conditions, but that doesn’t mean you’ll face all of these complications.
The most common issue is seroma, which is when fluid builds up inside the wound. It’s usually a temporary concern and not something to be overly worried about. Typically, this fluid accumulation happens after extensive dissection, but it usually resolves on its own within 1 to 2 weeks following the surgery.
Infection and bleeding are general risks that come with any surgical procedure. Hematoma, or blood pooling in the wound, is less likely if the surgeon performs the operation carefully. Plus, infections can often be avoided by taking prescribed antibiotics after the procedure.
One of the biggest risk factors for tummy tuck surgery is smoking. The duration and quantity of your smoking habit play a significant role. Smoking can slow down wound healing and may even lead to wound detachment. It’s advisable to quit smoking before undergoing an abdominoplasty to help prevent these issues.
Diabetes and obesity can also impact how well your wounds heal. If you do experience any complications that cause discomfort or extend your recovery time, rest assured that these can be managed and treated.
While not typically classified as a risk, it’s worth noting that some patients may find their surgical scars to be quite noticeable after a tummy tuck. Initially, the fresh scar may appear red and prominent in the first few weeks, but it usually fades to a more natural color over a few months, becoming less visible over time.
IMPORTANT ! Before getting the appointment, check your medical conditions yourself.
