A tummy tuck in Dubai costs between AED 20,000 and AED 60,000 across the emirate, and the figure depends mostly on which operation you need. My own fees are AED 30,000 to AED 35,000 for a mini tummy tuck and AED 50,000 to AED 60,000 for a full tummy tuck; an extended tummy tuck starts above the full and is quoted individually.
This page sets out how those fees are built and what they include. What they are built on is the type of operation: a mini and a full tummy tuck are different procedures, of different length, and the gap between their prices is the largest on this page. What the fee includes is everything: the surgery, the hospital, the anesthesia, and the care around them, with nothing to pay afterward. A price quoted before an examination is a price for an operation, not for a patient, and so the exact figure follows a consultation rather than preceding it.

- Insurance: not covered, and I work with no insurance company.
Tummy tuck fees by type
A tummy tuck is priced by which operation you need, because that decides the length of the surgery, whether the muscle wall is repaired across the whole abdomen, and whether the belly button is moved. These are my bands.
| Operation | When it applies | Fee |
|---|---|---|
| Mini tummy tuck | Mild looseness confined below the navel | AED 30,000 – 35,000 |
| Full tummy tuck | Looseness or muscle separation above and below the navel | AED 50,000 – 60,000 |
| Extended tummy tuck | Excess that wraps around to the flanks, usually after major weight loss | From AED 60,000, quoted at consultation |
| Combined procedures | Liposuction, pubic lift or thigh lift at the same sitting | Priced separately, quoted into one figure |
Where you sit is settled on examination, because how far the looseness extends, whether the muscles have separated, and whether liposuction is needed alongside all follow from your anatomy rather than a photograph.
Why the exact figure comes after a consultation
A single number at the top of a page is tidy, and it would be a fiction. A tummy tuck is not one operation. A mini, which addresses mild looseness below the belly button, and a full, which repairs the muscle wall across the whole abdomen and repositions the navel, are genuinely different operations at genuinely different prices. And the extent of loose skin, the state of your abdominal muscles, and whether liposuction is needed to contour alongside all change the plan.
A price given before an examination has priced the procedure, not the patient. Which operation you actually need can only be judged by examining the abdomen. You are given bands here, and an exact figure in writing once you have been examined.
Which band you fall into
This matters more with a tummy tuck than with almost any other procedure, because the price gap between a mini and a full is large, and choosing the wrong one wastes the money either way: a mini performed on someone who needs a full gives a minimal improvement and a lingering disappointment, and the patient ends up paying for the smaller operation twice.
Which band you fall into is usually settled in the first minute of the examination, by a simple two-hand test that shows whether the looseness stops below the navel or runs above it. Below, and a mini at AED 30,000 to 35,000 will correct it; above, and only a full at AED 50,000 to 60,000 will. For most patients who come to me, the answer is a full. The test itself — you can try it at home — and what it tells me about your muscle wall are on my tummy tuck in Dubai page.
What the full tummy tuck fee buys
Most of what you are paying for is operating time under general anesthesia in a hospital, and a full tummy tuck is a substantial operation of around two and a half to three hours. The fee buys four things, not one.
- The muscle wall repaired, not just the skin removed. This is the part a mini does not do across the whole abdomen, and much of why a full costs more than a mini.
- A navel that reads as unoperated. Repositioning the belly button so it looks like it was always yours is unhurried work, and it sits inside the fee rather than beside it.
- Definition, not just flatness. My full tummy tuck shapes a subtle two-pack rather than leaving the abdomen merely flat. It is part of what separates the fee for a complete operation from the price of a simple skin removal.
- A scar placed where swimwear covers it. Closing that incision carefully, without tension, is time the fee already covers.
What the figure includes
The number I give you is the number you pay. Nothing arrives afterward.
| Included in my fee | |
|---|---|
| Surgeon’s fee | Included |
| Consultant anesthetist | Included |
| JCI-accredited private hospital | Included |
| Hospital stay (one to two nights) | Included |
| Operating theater | Included |
| Medications | Included |
| Compression garment | Included |
| All follow-up appointments | Included |
Eight things, one figure. There is no separate hospital invoice, no charge for the overnight stay, and no anesthesia bill arriving in the weeks after your surgery. Where a combined procedure is part of your plan, it is quoted into the figure — not added afterward. When I quote you a number, that is the number, and it does not move.
Combined with liposuction and body contouring
The bands on this page are for the tummy tuck itself.
A tummy tuck is frequently combined with liposuction in Dubai to refine the flanks and waist, with a pubic lift through the same incision, or performed as part of a wider body contouring plan after major weight loss — which is what an extended tummy tuck often is. Where it is combined, the total reflects both procedures, and I give you that figure at consultation. I say this here rather than across a desk, because a patient planning a combined operation should not discover the figure after they have arranged their leave from work. A combined operation is usually the more economical choice, since one anesthetic and one recovery serve several procedures — the saving is real, but the total is higher than a tummy tuck alone.
Insurance in the UAE
I do not work with insurance companies.
A tummy tuck is a cosmetic procedure and is not covered by health insurance in the UAE. There are uncommon exceptions after major weight loss — where hanging skin causes documented functional problems such as recurrent rashes or infection — in which a policy may in principle respond to the removal of that skin; if you believe yours is one of them, take it up directly with your insurer before you see me, not afterward.
I would rather say this plainly on a web page than have you spend three weeks discovering it.
Revision, and what my quotation does not promise
The figure I quote is the figure you pay for the operation we agreed. There is no hidden cost within it.
If a second procedure is later performed, that is a second operation, and it is priced as one. One thing worth knowing: a pregnancy after a tummy tuck will stretch the tightened muscle and skin again, and may call for a second procedure — which is why I usually advise completing your family first. I would rather state that now than have you feel misled later. A surgeon who implies that all future surgery is included has made a promise he will eventually resent, and you will be the person he resents.
How to get your figure
You are examined so that the right operation can be identified — how far the loose skin extends, whether the muscle wall has separated, and whether liposuction is needed alongside. That is what decides between a mini, a full, and an extended procedure, and therefore the band.
Then you receive a figure, in writing, before you leave my practice in Dubai. It is fully inclusive, and it does not move afterward. For the range across other procedures, see plastic surgery costs in Dubai.
FAQs about tummy tuck cost in Dubai
-
What is Dr. Baycin’s fee for a tummy tuck in Dubai?
AED 30,000 to 35,000 for a mini tummy tuck and AED 50,000 to 60,000 for a full tummy tuck; an extended tummy tuck starts from AED 60,000 and is quoted individually once your body shape has been assessed. Across the emirate, prices range from AED 20,000 to AED 60,000. Each fee includes the surgeon, the anesthetist, the JCI hospital, the theater, the hospital stay, medication, the garment, and every follow-up, with nothing to pay afterward. Your exact figure is given in writing after a consultation.
-
Why does a full tummy tuck cost so much more than a mini?
Because it is a much larger operation. A mini treats mild looseness below the navel in about an hour to an hour and a half. A full repairs the muscle wall across the whole abdomen, removes skin from above the navel down, moves the belly button, and in my hands shapes a subtle two-pack — around two and a half to three hours under general anesthesia with a longer hospital stay. Operating time is the largest single cost within any surgical fee, so the band follows the operation. Which one you need is settled on examination, and most patients who need surgery need a full.
-
Why is the exact price not published on the website?
Because a tummy tuck is not one fixed operation. Whether the looseness stops below the navel or runs above it, whether the muscles have separated, and whether liposuction is needed alongside all change which operation you need and therefore the figure. So a price given before an examination has priced the procedure, not the patient. You are given bands here, and a figure in writing after you have been examined.
-
What is included in the tummy tuck fee?
Everything. The surgeon’s fee, the consultant anesthetist, the JCI-accredited hospital, the hospital stay, the operating theater, all medications, the compression garment, and every follow-up appointment. Where a combined procedure is part of your plan, it is quoted into the figure. Nothing arrives afterward. There is no separate hospital invoice, no charge for the overnight stay, and no anesthesia bill in the weeks following your surgery. So the figure given at consultation is the figure you pay.
-
How is a tummy tuck with liposuction priced?
As the sum of both procedures, quoted into one figure. Liposuction of the flanks and waist, a pubic lift or a thigh lift at the same sitting each add their own cost, but a combined operation is usually the more economical choice because one anesthetic and one recovery serve several procedures. The total is higher than a tummy tuck alone, and you will know it before you leave the consultation, not afterward.
-
Does insurance cover a tummy tuck in Dubai?
No, and I do not work with insurance companies. A tummy tuck is a cosmetic procedure and is not covered by health insurance in the UAE. There are uncommon exceptions after major weight loss, where hanging skin causes documented functional problems such as recurrent rashes or infection, in which a policy may in principle respond. So if you believe yours is one of them, take it up directly with your insurer before you see me. Payment to me is direct in every case.
-
Is revision surgery included in the fee?
No, and I want to be exact about it. The figure I quote is the figure you pay for the operation we agreed, and there is no hidden cost within it. If a second procedure is later performed — including after a pregnancy that re-stretches the repair — that is a second operation and it is priced as one. I would rather state that now than have you feel misled later.
