A thigh lift in Dubai costs between AED 25,000 and AED 60,000 across the emirate. My own fee is between AED 35,000 and AED 60,000, with a medial (inner) thigh lift toward the lower end and an extended, vertical lift toward the upper end; a thigh lift combined with a body lift or tummy tuck sits above that range and is quoted individually.
This page sets out how that fee is built and what it includes. What it is built on is the extent of the operation — how much skin has loosened and how far down the thigh it runs — and, before that, whether your skin needs a lift at all or whether liposuction alone would serve at a lower figure. What the fee includes is everything: the surgery, the hospital, the anesthesia and the care around them, with nothing to pay afterward. A price quoted before an examination is a price for an operation, not for a patient, and so the exact figure follows a consultation rather than preceding it.
Thigh lift cost in Dubai: the summary
- Dubai market range: AED 25,000 – AED 60,000 across the emirate.
- Dr. Baycin’s fee: AED 35,000 – AED 60,000 — a medial lift toward the lower end, an extended vertical lift toward the upper end.
- Combined with a body lift or tummy tuck: from AED 60,000, quoted individually after examination.
- Liposuction alone: where the skin is firm enough, a different and lower figure — see the liposuction cost page.
- What sets the band: how much skin has loosened and how far down the thigh it extends, settled on examination.
- Fully inclusive. Surgeon, anesthetist, JCI hospital, one-night stay, operating room, medication, garments, follow-up. No bill afterward.
- Insurance: not covered, and Dr. Baycin works with no insurance company.
Thigh lift fees by type
A thigh lift is priced by how much of the thigh has to be treated, because that decides the length of the incision and the hours under anesthesia. These are my bands.
| Operation | When it applies | Fee |
|---|---|---|
| Medial (crescent) thigh lift | Mild to moderate looseness of the upper inner thigh; scar hidden in the groin crease | Lower end of AED 35,000 – 60,000 |
| Extended (vertical) thigh lift | Laxity running down the inner thigh toward the knee, typically after major weight loss | Upper end of AED 35,000 – 60,000 |
| With a body lift or tummy tuck | Where the thigh is treated as part of a wider post-weight-loss plan | From AED 60,000, quoted at consultation |
| Thigh liposuction alone | Excess fat with skin firm enough to retract — no lifting scar | Priced as liposuction, not as a lift |
Where you sit is settled on examination, because how much skin has loosened, how far it extends, and whether it will hold its shape after fat removal all follow from your anatomy rather than a photograph.
Why the exact figure comes after a consultation
A single number at the top of a page is tidy, and it would be a fiction. A thigh lift is not one operation. A medial lift for mild inner-thigh looseness, with a scar hidden in the groin crease, and an extended lift for skin that runs down toward the knee, with a longer scar along the inner thigh, are different procedures, of different length and different scar. And before either, there is a prior question: whether your skin still has the firmness to hold its shape after fat is removed, in which case liposuction alone may serve and leave no scar at all.
A price given before an examination has priced the procedure, not the patient. What your thighs actually need can only be judged by examining them. You are given bands here, and an exact figure in writing once you have been examined.
Lift or liposuction: which figure is yours
This is the question that decides your price before any band applies, and it is worth being plain about, because the cheaper operation is only cheaper if it is the right one. If your thighs carry excess fat but the skin is still firm, liposuction alone tightens the contour, leaves no scar on the thigh, and is priced as liposuction — a lower figure than any lift on this page. If the skin has lost its firmness, liposuction removes the fat but leaves the loose skin behind, and only a lift will correct it. Choosing liposuction for skin that cannot retract saves money on the day and costs a second operation later.
Which one your thighs need, and whether a medial or an extended lift follows, is settled in the first minute of the examination by a simple two-hand test on the inner thigh. The test itself, and what it tells me about your skin, is on my thigh lift in Dubai page; the liposuction figures are on my liposuction cost in Dubai page.
What the thigh lift fee buys
Most of what you are paying for is operating time under general anesthesia — two to three hours, longer for an extended lift — and the care taken over a scar you will carry. The fee buys three things, not one.
- A scar that stays where it was placed. A thigh lift scar is only hidden if it stays in the groin crease, and keeping it there is a matter of how the closure is anchored rather than where the cut is made. That anchoring is part of every lift on this page, at every band.
- The surrounding anatomy left undistorted. The same anchoring is what protects the mons and vulva from being pulled by the weight of the thigh. It takes longer, and the time is inside the fee rather than beside it.
- The fat treated as part of the shape. Where fat accompanies the laxity, it is contoured as part of the lift rather than billed as a separate liposuction.
What the figure includes
The number I give you is the number you pay. Nothing arrives afterward.
| Included in my fee | |
|---|---|
| Surgeon’s fee | Included |
| Consultant anesthetist | Included |
| JCI-accredited private hospital | Included |
| One-night hospital stay | Included |
| Operating room | Included |
| Medications | Included |
| Compression garments and dressings | Included |
| All follow-up appointments | Included |
Eight things, one figure. There is no separate hospital invoice, no charge for the overnight stay, and no anesthesia bill arriving in the weeks after your surgery. Where a combined procedure is part of your plan, it is quoted into the figure — not added afterward. When I quote you a number, that is the number, and it does not move.
What moves the figure within the range
The range on this page is wide because a thigh lift spans a modest correction and a substantial one. Three things decide where within it you sit.
- How much skin is removed. Mild looseness at the upper inner thigh is a shorter operation than skin that runs down toward the knee, and the fee follows the extent.
- How far the incision runs. A medial lift confines the scar to the groin crease; an extended lift adds a vertical line along the inner thigh. A longer incision is a longer operation.
- Operating time. Complexity is measured in minutes under anesthesia, and operating room time is the largest single cost within any surgical fee.
None of these can be judged from a photograph. All of them are apparent within minutes of an examination.
Combined procedures are priced separately
The bands on this page are for a thigh lift alone.
A thigh lift is often part of a wider plan after major weight loss — combined with a tummy tuck in Dubai, an arm lift, or performed as part of a body lift in Dubai — or with liposuction beyond the thigh. Where it is, the total reflects each procedure and is quoted into one figure from AED 60,000. I say this here rather than at the consultation, because a patient planning a combined operation should not discover the figure across a desk after they have arranged their leave from work.
A combined operation is usually the more economical choice, since one anesthetic and one admission serve several procedures. The saving is real. The total is still higher than a thigh lift alone.
Insurance in the UAE
I do not work with insurance companies.
A thigh lift is a cosmetic procedure and is not covered by health insurance in the UAE. There are uncommon circumstances after major weight loss in which excess skin causes documented functional problems — recurrent rashes, chafing, difficulty walking — and a policy responds; if you believe yours is one of them, take it up directly with your insurer before you see me, not afterward.
I would rather say this plainly on a web page than have you spend three weeks discovering it.
Revision, and what my quotation does not promise
The figure I quote is the figure you pay for the operation we agreed. There is no hidden cost within it.
If a second procedure is later performed, that is a second operation, and it is priced as one. I would rather state that now than have you feel misled later. A surgeon who implies that all future surgery is included has made a promise he will eventually resent, and you will be the person he resents.
How to get your figure
You are examined. We establish whether your skin needs lifting or will hold its shape after fat removal, how much has loosened, and how far down the thigh it extends. That is what decides between liposuction, a medial lift, an extended lift, or a wider plan — and therefore the band.
Then you receive a figure, in writing, before you leave my practice in Dubai. It is fully inclusive, and it does not move afterward. For the range across other procedures, see plastic surgery costs in Dubai.
FAQs about thigh lift cost in Dubai
-
What is Dr. Baycin’s fee for a thigh lift in Dubai?
Between AED 35,000 and AED 60,000, with a medial (inner) thigh lift toward the lower end and an extended vertical lift toward the upper end. A thigh lift combined with a body lift or tummy tuck starts from AED 60,000 and is quoted individually after examination. Across the emirate, prices range from AED 25,000 to AED 60,000. Each fee includes the surgeon, the consultant anesthetist, the JCI hospital, the one-night stay, the operating room, medication, garments and every follow-up, with nothing to pay afterward. Your exact figure is given in writing after a consultation.
-
Why is the thigh lift range so wide?
Because a thigh lift covers a modest correction and a substantial one. A medial lift for mild looseness of the upper inner thigh keeps the scar in the groin crease and is a shorter operation, so it sits toward the lower end. An extended lift for skin that runs down toward the knee adds a vertical incision along the inner thigh and takes longer, so it sits toward the upper end. So the width of the range is not vagueness. It reflects that the same name covers very different amounts of surgery.
-
Would liposuction alone be cheaper than a thigh lift?
Yes, where it is the right operation — and the deciding factor is your skin, not your budget. If your thighs carry excess fat but the skin is still firm, liposuction alone gives a good result, leaves no scar, and is priced as liposuction rather than as a lift. If the skin has lost its firmness, liposuction removes the fat but leaves the loose skin behind, and only a lift will correct it. Choosing liposuction for skin that cannot retract saves money on the day and costs a second operation later. Which applies to you is judged on examination.
-
Why is the exact price not published on the website?
Because it would be a fiction. A thigh lift is not one operation performed identically on everyone. How much skin has loosened differs. How far it extends toward the knee differs. And whether your skin will hold its shape after fat removal decides whether you need a lift at all. So a price given before an examination has priced the procedure, not the patient. You are given bands here, and a figure in writing after you have been examined.
-
What is included in the thigh lift fee?
Everything. The surgeon’s fee, the consultant anesthetist, the JCI-accredited hospital, the one-night stay, the operating room, all medications, compression garments and dressings, and every follow-up appointment. Where a combined procedure is part of your plan, it is quoted into the figure. Nothing arrives afterward. There is no separate hospital invoice, no charge for the overnight stay, and no anesthesia bill in the weeks following your surgery. So the figure given at consultation is the figure you pay.
-
Is liposuction of the thigh charged on top of the lift?
No. Where fat accompanies the loose skin, it is contoured as part of the lift and sits inside the band. Liposuction is priced separately only where it is the whole operation — firm skin, excess fat, no lift needed — or where it extends beyond the thigh to other areas at the same sitting.
-
How is a thigh lift combined with a body lift or tummy tuck priced?
As the sum of each procedure, quoted into one figure from AED 60,000. After major weight loss a thigh lift is often one part of a plan that includes a tummy tuck, an arm lift or a body lift, and a combined operation is usually the more economical choice because one anesthetic and one admission serve several procedures. The total is higher than a thigh lift alone, and you will know it before you leave the consultation, not afterward.
-
Does insurance cover a thigh lift in Dubai?
No, and Dr. Baycin does not work with insurance companies. A thigh lift is a cosmetic procedure and is not covered by health insurance in the UAE. There are uncommon circumstances after major weight loss in which excess skin causes documented functional problems, such as recurrent rashes or chafing, and a policy responds. So if you believe yours is one of them, take it up directly with your insurer beforehand rather than afterward.
-
Is revision surgery included in the fee?
No, and I want to be exact about it. The figure I quote is the figure you pay for the operation we agreed, and there is no hidden cost within it. If a second procedure is later performed, that is a second operation and it is priced as one. I would rather state that now than have you feel misled later.
