A thigh lift in Dubai costs between AED 20,000 and AED 50,000 across the emirate. My own fee for a thigh lift is between AED 30,000 and AED 50,000, and where you sit within that depends on which thighs are being treated and how much skin has to be removed.
This page sets out what that fee reflects and what it includes. What it reflects is the operation itself — excess skin removed and the thigh lifted and re-anchored, with the scar designed to sit hidden in the groin fold or the buttock crease. What it includes is everything: the surgery, the hospital, the anesthesia and the care around them, with nothing to pay afterward. A price quoted before an examination is a price for an operation, not for a patient, and so the exact figure follows a consultation rather than preceding it.

Why the exact figure comes after a consultation
A single number at the top of a page is tidy, and it would be a fiction. A thigh lift is not one operation. An inner thigh lift and a lift that treats the back of the thighs as well are different procedures, in different positions, of different length. How far the loose skin extends toward the knee changes the design. Whether your skin still has the elasticity to retract, or has lost it, decides whether you need a lift at all or whether liposuction alone would serve.
A price given before an examination has priced the procedure, not the patient. What your thighs actually need can only be judged by examining them — how much skin has descended, in which direction, and how the skin behaves when it is moved. You are given a range here, and an exact figure in writing once you have been examined.
What the fee reflects: the operation itself
Most of what you are paying for is the operation, and a thigh lift is an operation where the design decides both the result and the scar. Here is what mine involves.
- The scar placed where it hides. For an inner thigh lift, I lift the lower edge and stitch it to the upper edge at the groin fold, so the scar sits along that fold and can be designed to stay hidden under a bikini. For the back of the thighs, the incision follows the crease where the buttock meets the thigh.
- A lift re-anchored to hold. On the posterior thigh, I separate the skin and fat from the underlying muscle, then lift and secure the edge before closing, so the result is supported rather than left to descend again under its own weight. That re-anchoring is surgical time, and it is inside the fee.
- Horizontal and vertical, when the laxity demands it. When loose skin sags toward the knee, a horizontal lift alone is not enough. In severe laxity I add vertical tightening — a two-dimensional lift — because that is what a badly lax inner thigh actually needs, rather than forcing one design onto every case. The added dimension is added operating time, and it is what carries a figure toward the top of the range.
- Lift or liposuction, judged by your skin. Where the skin still has elasticity and will retract, liposuction alone may give a good result with no lifting scar. Where that elasticity is gone, no amount of liposuction will tighten it, and a lift is required. Which of these applies is decided on examination, not assumed.
- Hidden, dissolvable sutures. The closure uses hidden, absorbable stitches, so there is nothing to remove.

Seven things, one figure. There is no separate hospital invoice, and no anesthesia bill arriving in the weeks after your surgery. When I quote you a number, that is the number, and it does not move.
What moves the figure within the range
The range on this page is wide because a thigh lift spans two quite different operations. Three things decide where within it you sit.
- Which thighs are treated. An inner thigh lift alone sits toward the lower end. Adding the back of the thighs, or treating them as well, is a longer and more extensive operation and sits higher.
- How far the skin has descended. Laxity confined to the upper inner thigh is a shorter operation than skin that sags toward the knee and needs vertical tightening as well as horizontal.
- Operating time. Complexity is measured in minutes under anesthesia, and operating room time is the largest single cost within any surgical fee.
None of these can be judged from a photograph. All of them are apparent within minutes of an examination.
Combined procedures are priced separately
The range on this page is for a thigh lift alone.
A thigh lift is often combined with liposuction in Dubai to refine the contour, or performed as part of a wider body lift in Dubai after major weight loss, and where it is, the total sits above the range above. I say this here rather than at the consultation, because a patient planning a combined procedure should not discover the figure across a desk after she has arranged her leave from work.
A combined operation is usually the more economical choice, since one anesthetic and one admission serve several procedures. The saving is real. The total is still higher than the range above.
Insurance in the UAE
I do not work with insurance companies.
A thigh lift is a cosmetic procedure and is not covered by health insurance in the UAE. There are uncommon circumstances after major weight loss in which excess skin causes documented functional problems — recurrent rashes, difficulty with movement — and a policy responds; if you believe yours is one of them, take it up directly with your insurer before you see me, not afterward.
I would rather say this plainly on a web page than have you spend three weeks discovering it.
Revision, and what my quotation does not promise
The figure I quote is the figure you pay for the operation we agreed. There is no hidden cost within it.
If a second procedure is later performed, that is a second operation, and it is priced as one. I would rather state that now than have you feel misled later. A surgeon who implies that all future surgery is included has made a promise he will eventually resent, and you will be the person he resents.
How to get your figure
You are examined, standing, because the descent of the skin is a matter of gravity and the examination couch conceals it. We establish which thighs need treating, how far the laxity extends, and whether your skin will retract on its own or needs lifting.

Would liposuction alone be cheaper than a thigh lift?
Sometimes it is the right operation, and sometimes it is not, and the deciding factor is your skin rather than your budget. Where the skin still has elasticity and will retract after fat is removed, liposuction alone can give a good result with no lifting scar. Where that elasticity is gone, liposuction removes the fat but leaves the loose skin behind, and only a lift will tighten it. So which applies is judged on examination. Choosing liposuction for skin that cannot retract saves money on the day and disappoints later, and I would rather tell you which one your thighs need.
