A facelift in Dubai costs between AED 15,000 and AED 60,000 across the emirate. My own fees run by technique: AED 30,000 to AED 35,000 for a mini facelift, AED 45,000 to AED 50,000 for an endoscopic mid-facelift, and AED 50,000 to AED 60,000 for a deep plane facelift that lifts the neck as well.
This page sets out what those fees reflect and what they include. What they reflect is that a facelift done well lifts the deep tissue from within — the muscle layer, not just the skin — which is the difference between a natural, rested result and the tight, pulled look people fear. What the fee includes is everything: the surgery, the hospital, the anesthesia, and the care around them, with nothing to pay afterward. A price quoted before an examination is a price for an operation, not for a patient, and so the exact figure follows a consultation rather than preceding it.

Why the exact figure comes after a consultation
A single number at the top of a page is tidy, and for a facelift it would be a fiction. A facelift is not one operation. A mini facelift for early jowling, an endoscopic mid-facelift for a younger face with descending cheeks but no wrinkles, and a deep plane facelift for significant sagging across the face and neck are genuinely different operations, for genuinely different faces, at different prices.
A price given before an examination has priced the procedure, not the patient. Which technique your face needs depends on where and how much it has aged — the cheeks, the jawline, the neck, the skin itself — and that can only be judged by examining it. You are given ranges here, and an exact figure in writing once you have been examined.
Which facelift do you actually need?
This matters more with a facelift than with almost any other procedure, because the three operations suit three different faces, and the right one is a clinical judgment rather than a matter of budget.
- Mini facelift, AED 30,000 to AED 35,000. For early sagging and jowling, the SMAS layer is folded and secured with plication sutures to lift the loose tissue from within, and excess skin is trimmed. It is a lighter operation with a quicker recovery.
- Endoscopic mid-facelift, AED 45,000 to AED 50,000. For a younger face — even in the twenties or thirties — where the cheek tissue has descended but there are no wrinkles to remove. Through a small temple incision, a camera guides the lift of the cheek tissue off the bone and secures it higher. It restores position without removing skin.
- Deep plane facelift, AED 50,000 to AED 60,000. The most thorough method, for significant sagging with loose, wrinkled skin across the face and neck. The SMAS and the tissue above it are lifted and repositioned together from within, which tightens the cheeks and jawline and gives the neck a lift as well.
Which of these suits you is settled on examination, weighing the degree of sagging, the looseness of the cheek tissue, and the wrinkles on the skin. Sometimes the best result combines an endoscopic and a standard technique.
What the fee reflects: the operation itself
Most of what you are paying for is the operation, and a facelift is defined by one thing above all — whether the lift comes from the deep tissue or merely from the skin. Here is what mine involves.
- Lifted from within, not pulled at the skin. The lasting, natural result comes from lifting the muscle layer — the SMAS — and securing it with internal stitches, so the loose tissue is supported from underneath. Pulling the skin tight instead is what produces the wind-blown, operated look, because skin stretches and relaxes again. I lift the structure and let the skin redrape over it. That internal work is slower than pulling skin tight, and it is what the fee is paying for.
- The scar at the ear margin. The incision is placed right at the margin of the ear, so there is no visible scar from the side. It is closed with hidden, absorbable stitches, so nothing needs to be removed afterward. That placement and concealed closure take operating time, and the fee already includes it.
- The neck included, where the deep plane is used. A deep plane facelift lifts the neck as part of the operation, which is why it addresses a sagging jawline and neck together rather than leaving a tightened face above an untreated neck — and it is much of why the deep plane fee sits at the top of the range.
- The technique matched to the face. A younger face with descended cheeks does not need the same operation as an older one with loose, wrinkled skin. Choosing the lighter operation where it will serve, and the thorough one where it is needed, is the judgment the fee reflects.

Eight things, one figure. There is no separate hospital invoice, and no anesthesia bill arriving in the weeks after your surgery. When I quote you a number, that is the number, and it does not move.
What moves the figure between the ranges
The technique is the main thing that separates the three ranges, and within each, two more factors decide where you sit.
- The technique your face needs. Mini, endoscopic, or deep plane — the largest factor, and a clinical decision rather than a budget one.
- Whether the neck is treated. A deep plane facelift lifts the neck as part of the operation, which is much of why it sits at the top of the range.
- Operating time. Complexity is measured in hours under anesthesia, and theater time is the largest single cost within any surgical fee.
None of these can be judged from a photograph. All of them are apparent within minutes of an examination.
Combined with other facial procedures
The ranges on this page are for the facelift itself.
A facelift is often part of a wider rejuvenation — combined with eyelid surgery in Dubai or a brow lift, where the upper face has aged alongside the lower. Where it is combined, the total reflects both procedures, and I give you that figure at consultation. A combined operation is usually the more economical choice, since one anesthetic and one recovery serve several procedures — the saving is real, but the total is higher than a facelift alone.
Insurance in the UAE
I do not work with insurance companies.
A facelift is a cosmetic procedure and is not covered by health insurance in the UAE, as elective aesthetic surgery generally is not. If you believe your case is unusual, take it up directly with your insurer before you see me, not afterward.
I would rather say this plainly on a web page than have you spend three weeks discovering it.
Revision, and what my quotation does not promise
The figure I quote is the figure you pay for the operation we agreed. There is no hidden cost within it.
If a second procedure is later performed, that is a second operation, and it is priced as one. A facelift does not stop the face from aging — it sets it back — and years later some patients choose a further procedure. I would rather state that now than have you feel misled later. A surgeon who implies that all future surgery is included has made a promise he will eventually resent, and you will be the person he resents.
How to get your figure
You are examined so that the technique can be matched to your face — where and how much it has aged, whether the cheeks, jawline, or neck are the concern, and how the skin itself behaves. That is what decides between a mini, an endoscopic, and a deep plane facelift, and therefore the figure.
