Chin surgery in Dubai costs between AED 20,000 and AED 80,000 across the emirate. My own fees are AED 40,000 to AED 45,000 for chin augmentation with a standard implant, and AED 60,000 to AED 80,000 for a 3D custom implant designed from your own CT scan.
The range across Dubai is wide, and part of the reason is the operation described on this page: a bespoke implant, engineered to fit one person’s bone exactly, sits at the top of what chin surgery can cost anywhere. This page sets out what that fee reflects and what it includes. What it includes is everything: the surgery, the hospital, the anesthesia and the care around them, with nothing to pay afterward. A price quoted before an examination is a price for an operation, not for a patient, and so the exact figure follows a consultation rather than preceding it.

Why the exact figure comes after a consultation
A single number at the top of a page is tidy, and for the chin it would be a fiction. Chin augmentation is not one operation. A standard implant, expertly placed, and a bespoke implant designed from a CT scan of your own facial bone are genuinely different procedures, at different prices. How much projection your chin lacks, and in which direction — forward, downward, or to one side — changes what is needed.
A price given before an examination has priced the procedure, not the patient. What your chin actually needs can only be judged by assessing the bone, ideally in three dimensions, against the proportions of the rest of your face. You are given ranges here, and an exact figure in writing once you have been examined.
What the fee reflects: the operation itself
Most of what you are paying for is the operation, and with the chin the single factor that decides both the look and the safety of the result is how well the implant fits the bone. Here is what mine involves.
- An implant designed to your own bone. For the custom procedure, I begin with a CT scan and build a precise three-dimensional model of your facial bones, then design an implant to fit yours exactly — adjusted to within a fraction of a millimeter, feathered so its edges disappear into your native bone rather than sitting on top of it. It is 3D-printed for you, not chosen from a catalog and trimmed in theater.
- Fit is not cosmetic — it is the safety of the operation. The published literature attributes most chin-implant complications — shifting, malposition, the need for revision, and infection rates that reach as high as 23.8% in some implant series — largely to implants that fit the bone imperfectly. An implant built to seat exactly on your bone is the best defense against those failures. So the bespoke approach is not only more natural to look at; by the measure of the evidence, it is safer.
- The route chosen for your result. The implant is placed either from inside the mouth, which leaves no external scar but carries a slightly higher infection risk from the mouth’s bacteria, or from a small incision beneath the chin, which is easier and lower-risk but leaves a small hidden scar. I choose between them for your anatomy, and secure the implant to the bone with a micro-screw so it cannot move. Neither route changes the fee — the operation, not the incision, is what you are paying for.
- A standard implant, done well, remains an option. Not everyone needs or wants the custom route. A quality standard implant, expertly placed and screw-fixed, is the lower of the two bands and a good operation in the right case. The consultation is where we decide which serves you.

One figure, and nothing after it. For the custom procedure, the CT scan, the design software and the one-off manufacture of your implant are all inside the fee — there is no separate imaging or laboratory bill. When I quote you a number, that is the number, and it does not move.
What moves the figure between the bands
Chin augmentation divides into two operations at two price points, and which one you need is settled on examination.
- Standard chin implant, AED 40,000 to AED 45,000. A quality implant, placed and screw-fixed through the route that suits your anatomy. The right operation for many patients.
- 3D custom implant, AED 60,000 to AED 80,000. An implant designed from your own CT scan and 3D-printed to fit your bone exactly. The higher fee reflects the imaging, the digital design, the one-off manufacture, and the fit that the evidence links to fewer complications. Where within the band you sit depends on the complexity of the design your anatomy requires.
Which of the two is right for you is not a question of budget alone — it depends on your bone, your degree of asymmetry, and the result you want. That is settled together at the consultation.
When the whole jawline is involved
The fees above are for the chin.
Where balanced lower-face definition calls for more than the chin — enhancement of the entire jawline — the operation uses a set of three or four integrated custom implants working as a single unit, and it is a larger, separate procedure at AED 90,000 to AED 100,000. Insurance in the UAE
I do not work with insurance companies.
Chin augmentation is a cosmetic procedure and is not covered by health insurance in the UAE, as elective aesthetic surgery generally is not. If you believe your case is unusual, take it up directly with your insurer before you see me, not afterward.
I would rather say this plainly on a web page than have you spend three weeks discovering it.
Revision, and what my quotation does not promise
The figure I quote is the figure you pay for the operation we agreed. There is no hidden cost within it.
If a second procedure is later performed, that is a second operation, and it is priced as one. I would rather state that now than have you feel misled later. Much of the reason I design implants from a CT scan is to reduce the chance of the malposition that drives revision in the first place — but no surgeon can promise a result will never need adjusting, and I will not fold that promise into the fee.
How to get your figure
You are examined, and where the custom route is under consideration, a 3D assessment of your facial bones shows us together exactly what a given correction will achieve before anything is decided. We establish whether a standard or a custom implant serves you, and what the result should be against the rest of your face.

The higher fee reflects the imaging, the design software, and the one-off manufacture — all of which are inside the price, with no separate imaging or laboratory bill. So you are not paying more for a bigger implant. You are paying for one engineered to your own skeleton, which fits with no dead space and, by the evidence, is less likely to shift or need revision.

There is no separate hospital invoice, no imaging bill, and no laboratory charge in the weeks following your surgery. So the figure given at consultation is the figure you pay. A full jawline enhancement is a separate, larger procedure. It uses a set of three or four integrated custom implants — a central chin piece and jaw-angle pieces — designed to work as one unit, and it costs AED 90,000 to AED 100,000. That is distinct from chin augmentation alone, which is the operation these chin fees cover. So if your goal is the definition of the whole lower face rather than the chin by itself, the jawline procedure is the relevant one, and its own page describes it in full.
