An arm lift in Dubai costs between AED 20,000 and AED 50,000 across the emirate. My own fee for an arm lift is between AED 30,000 and AED 50,000, and where you sit within that depends on how much skin has to be removed and how extensive the lift is.
This page sets out what that fee reflects and what it includes. What it reflects is the operation itself — loose skin removed and the arm tightened, with the design and the scar planned to the extent of the laxity rather than to a single routine. What it includes is everything: the surgery, the hospital, the anesthesia and the care around them, with nothing to pay afterward. A price quoted before an examination is a price for an operation, not for a patient, and so the exact figure follows a consultation rather than preceding it.

Why the exact figure comes after a consultation
A single number at the top of a page is tidy, and it would be a fiction. An arm lift is not one operation. A mini lift for mild sagging near the upper arm and a full lift for skin that hangs from armpit to elbow are different procedures, of different length and different scar. And before either, there is a prior question: whether your skin still has the firmness to hold its shape after fat is removed, in which case liposuction alone may serve and leave no scar at all.
A price given before an examination has priced the procedure, not the patient. What your arms actually need can only be judged by examining them — how much skin has loosened, how far it extends, and how the skin behaves when it is moved. You are given a range here, and an exact figure in writing once you have been examined.
What the fee reflects: the operation itself
Most of what you are paying for is the operation, and with an arm lift the scar is the thing patients worry about most. Here is how mine is approached.
- Skin firmness decides the operation. If your arms carry excess fat but the skin is still firm, liposuction alone may be the better choice, because it tightens the contour without leaving a scar on the arm. Only where the skin has genuinely lost its firmness does a lift — with its incision — become necessary. That judgment is made first, on examination — and it decides whether yours is a liposuction figure or a lift figure.
- The least scar the correction allows. Where a lift is needed, the aim is a more aesthetically pleasing arm with the minimum scarring the amount of loose skin permits. The extent of the incision follows the extent of the skin to be removed, rather than a fixed pattern applied to everyone. A longer incision is a longer operation, and that is part of what moves the fee within the range.
- Scaled to the severity. An arm lift takes between two and four hours depending on how much skin is involved, under general anesthesia. A mild correction and an extensive one are genuinely different operations, and the fee follows the operation.

Seven things, one figure. There is no separate hospital invoice, and no anesthesia bill arriving in the weeks after your surgery. When I quote you a number, that is the number, and it does not move.
What moves the figure within the range
The range on this page is wide because an arm lift spans a small correction and a substantial one. Three things decide where within it you sit.
- How much skin is removed. Mild sagging near the upper arm is a shorter operation than skin that hangs the full length from armpit to elbow, and the fee follows the extent.
- Lift or liposuction. Where firm skin allows liposuction alone, the operation is shorter and simpler than a full skin-removing lift. Which one your arms need is decided by your skin, not chosen in advance.
- Operating time. Complexity is measured in minutes under anesthesia, and operating room time is the largest single cost within any surgical fee.
None of these can be judged from a photograph. All of them are apparent within minutes of an examination.
Combined procedures are priced separately
The range on this page is for an arm lift alone.
An arm lift is often combined with liposuction in Dubai to refine the contour, or performed as part of a wider body lift in Dubai after major weight loss, and where it is, the total sits above the range above. I say this here rather than at the consultation, because a patient planning a combined procedure should not discover the figure across a desk after they have arranged their leave from work.
A combined operation is usually the more economical choice, since one anesthetic and one admission serve several procedures. The saving is real. The total is still higher than the range above.
Insurance in the UAE
I do not work with insurance companies.
An arm lift is a cosmetic procedure and is not covered by health insurance in the UAE. There are uncommon circumstances after major weight loss in which excess skin causes documented functional problems — recurrent rashes, difficulty with clothing — and a policy responds; if you believe yours is one of them, take it up directly with your insurer before you see me, not afterward.
I would rather say this plainly on a web page than have you spend three weeks discovering it.
Revision, and what my quotation does not promise
The figure I quote is the figure you pay for the operation we agreed. There is no hidden cost within it.
If a second procedure is later performed, that is a second operation, and it is priced as one. I would rather state that now than have you feel misled later. A surgeon who implies that all future surgery is included has made a promise he will eventually resent, and you will be the person he resents.
How to get your figure
You are examined with the arm raised to shoulder height, because that is when the loose skin between the elbow and armpit actually shows. We establish how much skin has loosened, how far it extends, and whether your skin will hold its shape after fat removal or needs lifting.

Sometimes it is the right operation, and sometimes it is not, and the deciding factor is your skin rather than your budget.
