Rhinoplasty in Dubai costs between AED 20,000 and AED 50,000 across the emirate. My own fees sit toward and above the top of that range: AED 45,000 to AED 50,000 for cosmetic rhinoplasty, and AED 50,000 to AED 55,000 for functional or revision surgery.
This page sets out what those fees reflect and what they include. What they reflect is that the nose is the most demanding operation in facial surgery — millimeters decide the result, and there is no hidden scar to forgive an imprecise one. What they include is everything: the surgery, the hospital, the anesthesia and the care around them, with nothing to pay afterward. A price quoted before an examination is a price for an operation, not for a patient, and so the exact figure follows a consultation rather than preceding it.

Why the exact figure comes after a consultation
A single number at the top of a page is tidy, and for the nose it would be a fiction. Rhinoplasty is not one operation. A refinement of the tip and a full reshaping of a nose with a dorsal hump are different procedures of different length. A cosmetic change and a functional one that must also correct the breathing are different again. And a revision, working through the scar tissue and altered anatomy of a previous surgery, is the most demanding of all.
A price given before an examination has priced the procedure, not the patient. What your nose needs — and whether the goal is aesthetic, functional, or both — can only be judged by examining it, inside and out, against the proportions of your face. You are given ranges here, and an exact figure in writing once you have been examined.
What the fee reflects: the operation itself
The nose is the hardest operation in facial aesthetic surgery, and most of what you are paying for is the precision it demands. Here is what mine involves.
- A result designed to your face, not a template nose. The aim is a nose that enhances your overall balance while preserving the character of your natural appearance — a nose that looks like it was always yours, rather than one borrowed from someone else’s face. That means designing the change to your proportions, not applying a single fashionable shape to everyone. That bespoke design is what the fee is buying before the operation even begins.
- Minimal incisions, least scarring. I use minimal incisions to leave the least scarring possible, so the refinement is in the shape rather than in visible marks. The precision is internal, where it does not show.
- Cosmetic and functional in one operation. Where breathing is part of the problem, the functional correction is done at the same time as the aesthetic one, rather than treating the appearance and leaving the airway, or the reverse. The nose has to work as well as look right — and that combined work is what moves a case from the cosmetic range into the functional one.
- An honest position on revision. By world standards, a small proportion of rhinoplasties — around five to ten percent — need a revision, and minor healing variations from cartilage behavior and skin character are not fully within any surgeon’s control. I say this before your surgery, not after it, because a surgeon who promises a perfect result every time is promising something the nose does not allow.

Seven things, one figure. There is no separate hospital invoice, and no anesthesia bill arriving in the weeks after your surgery. When I quote you a number, that is the number, and it does not move.
What moves the figure between the ranges
Rhinoplasty divides into three operations of rising difficulty, and that is what separates the ranges.
- Cosmetic rhinoplasty, AED 45,000 to AED 50,000. Reshaping or refining the nose for its appearance — the tip, a dorsal hump, the overall proportion.
- Functional rhinoplasty, AED 50,000 to AED 55,000. Correcting the breathing as well as, or instead of, the appearance. The functional work adds time and complexity to the operation.
- Secondary rhinoplasty, AED 50,000 to AED 55,000. Correcting a previous surgery. Working through scar tissue and anatomy already altered by another operation is the most demanding rhinoplasty of all, which is why it sits at the top.

Insurance in the UAE
I do not work with insurance companies, so in every case payment to me is direct.
Cosmetic rhinoplasty is not covered by health insurance in the UAE. Where a genuine functional problem is present — a deviated septum, an airway obstruction, a deformity from injury — the functional part of the surgery may in principle be claimable under some policies. But because I do not work with insurers, you would pay me directly and pursue any reimbursement with your insurer yourself, rather than my billing them.
If a possible functional claim matters to your decision, take it up directly with your insurer before you see me, so you know where you stand. I would rather you knew that plainly than assumed a coverage that does not reach me.
Revision, and what my quotation does not promise
The figure I quote is the figure you pay for the operation we agreed. There is no hidden cost within it.
If a revision is later needed, that is a separate operation and it is priced as one, in the revision range above. I would rather state that now than have you feel misled later — and, as I have said, a small proportion of noses do need revision by any honest standard. A surgeon who implies otherwise, or who folds an unlimited guarantee into the first fee, has made a promise the nose will not always let him keep.

Why does rhinoplasty cost more than other facial procedures?
Because the nose is the hardest operation in facial aesthetic surgery. The changes are measured in millimeters, the result sits in the center of the face where nothing is hidden, and the same operation has to leave the nose both looking right and working. There is also no forgiving scar. On a facelift a small imperfection hides in a crease; on a nose it is on display. So what the fee reflects is the precision the nose demands and the time that precision takes, rather than the size of the operation, which is small.

Because both are harder operations. Functional rhinoplasty corrects the breathing as well as, or instead of, the appearance, and that work adds time and complexity. Revision rhinoplasty means operating through scar tissue and anatomy already altered by a previous surgery, with less predictable tissue and less margin for error. It is the most demanding rhinoplasty of all, which is why it sits at the top of the range. So the three ranges reflect three genuinely different operations of rising difficulty, not three prices for the same thing.
