Breast reduction in Dubai costs between AED 20,000 and AED 60,000 across the emirate. My own fee for breast reduction is between AED 50,000 and AED 60,000.
This page sets out what that fee reflects and what it includes. What it reflects is that a breast reduction is two operations in one — removing tissue, and reshaping and lifting what remains so the result looks natural rather than merely smaller. What it includes is everything: the surgery, the hospital, the anesthesia and the care around them, with nothing to pay afterward. A price quoted before an examination is a price for an operation, not for a patient, and so the exact figure follows a consultation rather than preceding it.

Why the exact figure comes after a consultation
A single number at the top of a page is tidy, and it would be a fiction. A breast reduction is not one fixed operation. How much tissue has to be removed differs enormously from one woman to the next, and it decides both the length of the surgery and the pattern of the scar. A moderate reduction and a very large one are genuinely different operations, of different length and complexity.
A price given before an examination has priced the procedure, not the patient. How much needs removing, how much the skin will need to be re-draped, and where your breasts sit now can only be judged by examining them. You are given a range here, and an exact figure in writing once you have been examined.
What the fee reflects: the operation itself
Most of what you are paying for is the operation, and a breast reduction is more demanding than many expect — often more so than an enlargement, because more surgical work is involved. Here is what mine involves.
- Reduction and reshaping in one operation. Removing tissue is only half the work. Once it is gone, the remaining breast and its skin have to be reshaped and lifted, or the result looks flat or sagging rather than smaller and natural. The lift is part of the reduction, not an extra — and it is half of what the fee is paying for.
- The scar matched to the reduction. The pattern of the incision follows how much has to be removed — a shorter scar where the reduction is moderate, a fuller pattern where it is large. I place the incisions in the most discreet positions the reduction allows, such as along the breast crease, rather than applying one fixed pattern to every woman. A fuller pattern means a longer operation, and that is part of what moves the fee within the range.
- Relief, not only appearance. For many women this operation is not primarily cosmetic. Large breasts cause shoulder, neck and back pain, postural strain, and skin irritation beneath them, and a reduction is often the thing that resolves those symptoms. The fee reflects an operation that changes how you feel physically, not just how you look.
- A full surgical operation, properly resourced. A breast reduction is performed under general anesthesia, takes around three hours, and includes a one-night hospital stay. That operating room and hospital time is real, and it is inside the fee.

Eight things, one figure. There is no separate hospital invoice, no charge for the overnight stay, and no anesthesia bill arriving in the weeks after your surgery. When I quote you a number, that is the number, and it does not move.
What moves the figure within the range
Three things decide where within the range you sit, and all are apparent on examination.
- How much is removed. A larger reduction is a longer, more complex operation than a moderate one, and the fee follows the extent of the work.
- How much reshaping the skin needs. The more the breast has descended, the more the remaining skin has to be re-draped and lifted, which adds to the operation.
- Operating time. Complexity is measured in hours under anesthesia, and operating room time is the largest single cost within any surgical fee.
None of these can be judged from a photograph. All of them are apparent within minutes of an examination.
Insurance in the UAE
I do not work with insurance companies, so payment to me is direct.
Breast reduction is unusual among cosmetic operations in that it is often medically justified — where large breasts cause documented back, neck or shoulder pain, or persistent skin problems, some policies will in principle respond to the functional part of the surgery. But because I do not work with insurers, you would pay me directly and pursue any reimbursement with your insurer yourself, rather than my billing them.
If a possible functional claim matters to your decision, take it up directly with your insurer before you see me, so you know where you stand.
Revision, and what my quotation does not promise
The figure I quote is the figure you pay for the operation we agreed. There is no hidden cost within it.
If a second procedure is later performed, that is a second operation, and it is priced as one. I would rather state that now than have you feel misled later. A surgeon who implies that all future surgery is included has made a promise he will eventually resent, and you will be the person he resents.
How to get your figure
You are examined so that the extent of the reduction can be judged — how much tissue needs removing, how much the skin will need reshaping, and what will suit your frame. That is what decides the operation, and therefore the figure.

So reshaping and lifting what remains is not an extra procedure added to the reduction — it is how a reduction is done properly, and it is included in the fee.
