Breast reduction in Dubai costs between AED 20,000 and AED 60,000 across the emirate, and the figure depends mostly on how much has to be removed. My own fee runs from AED 50,000 for a mild reduction to AED 60,000 for a large one, with any procedure combined at the same sitting quoted separately into the figure.
This page sets out how that fee is built and what it includes. What it is built on is the extent of the reduction: a one-cup reduction and a gigantomastia reduction are different operations, of different length and complexity, and they sit at different points in the range. What it includes is everything: the surgery, the hospital, the anesthesia and the care around them, with nothing to pay afterward. A price quoted before an examination is a price for an operation, not for a patient, and so the exact figure follows a consultation rather than preceding it.

Breast reduction fees by extent of reduction
Breast reduction is priced mainly by how much has to come out, because that single decision sets the length of the operation, the length of the pedicle that carries the nipple, and the scar pattern needed to reshape what remains. These are my bands.

Where you sit is settled on examination, because the volume to be removed, how far the breast has descended, and how much skin will need re-draping all follow from your anatomy rather than a photograph.
Why the exact figure comes after a consultation
A single number at the top of a page is tidy, and it would be a fiction. A breast reduction is not one fixed operation. How much tissue has to be removed differs enormously from one woman to the next, and it decides both the length of the surgery and the pattern of the scar. A moderate reduction and a very large one are genuinely different operations, of different length and complexity.
A price given before an examination has priced the procedure, not the patient. How much needs removing, how much the skin will need to be re-draped, and where your breasts sit now can only be judged by examining them. You are given bands here, and an exact figure in writing once you have been examined.
What the fee reflects
Most of what you are paying for is operating time under general anesthesia in a hospital, and the extent of the reduction is what sets that time. Three things follow from it.
- The reshaping is inside the fee, not added to it. A reduction removes tissue and then reshapes and lifts what remains; the lift is how a reduction is done, not a second procedure. That is why a reduction is a longer operation than an enlargement, and why no separate “lift” charge appears on my quotation.
- The scar pattern follows the volume, and so does the time. A mild reduction is closed with a short scar; a large one needs the inverted-T to re-drape the greater volume safely. The fuller pattern is a longer operation, and that is what moves the fee from the bottom of the range to the top.
- A full surgical admission, properly resourced. Around three hours in theatre, a consultant anesthetist, and a one-night stay in a JCI-accredited hospital. That time is real, and it is inside the fee.

Where a combined procedure is part of your plan, it is quoted into the figure — not added afterward. When I quote you a number, that is the number, and it does not move.
What moves the figure within the range
Three things decide where within the range you sit, and all are apparent on examination.
- How much is removed. This is the largest factor. A one-cup reduction sits at the bottom of the range; a gigantomastia reduction sits at the top.
- How much reshaping the skin needs. The more the breast has descended, the more the remaining skin has to be re-draped and lifted, which adds to the operation.
- Operating time. Complexity is measured in hours under anesthesia, and operating-room time is the largest single cost within any surgical fee.
None of these can be judged from a photograph. All of them are apparent within minutes of an examination.
Combined procedures are priced separately
The bands on this page are for breast reduction alone.
Breast reduction is often performed alongside something else at the same sitting — liposuction of the side chest and the roll beneath the arm, which a reduction on its own does not reach; a tummy tuck in Dubai; or liposuction of the body. Where it is, the total reflects both procedures. I say this here rather than at the consultation, because a patient planning a combined operation should not discover the figure across a desk after they have arranged their leave from work. A combined operation is usually the more economical choice, since one anesthetic and one admission serve several procedures — the saving is real, but the total is higher than a reduction alone.

Insurance in the UAE and functional claims
I do not work with insurance companies, so payment to me is direct.
Breast reduction is unusual among cosmetic operations in that it is often medically justified. Where large breasts cause documented back, neck or shoulder pain, or persistent skin problems beneath the breast, some policies will in principle respond to the functional part of the surgery. What that usually turns on is documentation rather than the operation itself: a history of symptoms recorded by a doctor over time, evidence that conservative measures such as physiotherapy or supportive bras were tried, and an estimate of the weight to be removed relative to your build. Policies differ, and many exclude reduction outright, so none of this is a promise.
Because I do not work with insurers, you would pay me directly and pursue any reimbursement with your insurer yourself, rather than my billing them. If a possible functional claim matters to your decision, take it up with your insurer before you see me, so you know what they require; if a medical report from me is part of what they ask for, raise it at consultation.
Revision, and what my quotation does not promise
The figure I quote is the figure you pay for the operation we agreed. There is no hidden cost within it.
If a second procedure is later performed, that is a second operation, and it is priced as one. I would rather state that now than have you feel misled later. A surgeon who implies that all future surgery is included has made a promise he will eventually resent, and you will be the person he resents.
How to get your figure
You are examined so that the extent of the reduction can be judged — how much tissue needs removing, how much the skin will need reshaping, and what will suit your frame. That is what decides the operation, and therefore the band.
